“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.  No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5: 14-16)

At Holy Cross church we endeavour to be a light in the darkness for the people of Daventry. We want to help our neighbours in practical ways and we want to encourage others to discover the love God has for each and every one of us. Update on Holy Cross Opening 


The New Law of 6 socially does not apply to meeting for worship!


From Tuesday 15th at 10.00am a Service of Holy communion will take place. You will need to book your place, please click on the link below to book.

We are holding Sunday Services in Church at 10.00am except for 1 sunday a month where we will be meeting via zoom. If you wish to book to come to church please click on the link below. If you would like to join us on Zoom please contact us and the link will be sent to you.

Tuesday 6th October @ 10.00 Said Communion in Church

Sunday 11th October @ 10.00am Harvest Festival in Church

Sunday 11th October @ 4.00pm Harvest Songs of Praise on Zoom

Tuesday 13th October @ 10.00am Morning Prayer in Church

Hands must be washed or Sanitised on entering the building and for your protection and that masks will need to be worn. (Some will be available if you do not have any and we request that you make a donation towards these costs)

Daily prayer is a great way of connecting with God and with each other, can I suggest that at 4.00pm every day we all sit down and pray through this booklet together. It's a great way of connecting with our heavenly Father and with each other. Praying together at the same time will help us all to feel connected and will be encouragement for our faith at this difficult time.
