         Jesus Dies on the cross

John 19: 30 Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

We Remember the Cross of Jesus

Remember that Jesus has accomplished everything.  It is finished. There is nothing left for us to do.  We cannot earn our salvation. Jesus has done everything that was necessary for us. All that is left for us to do is accept his gift and be thankful.

We Name the Crosses of Today

How easy is it for us to accept Jesus gift of salvation?

The crosses of pride, guilt and shame may be barriers to us receiving what Christ has freely given to us.

We must offer these crosses up asking for forgiveness to enter into eternal life with Christ. 

We Pray

 
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
for ever and ever. Amen
