With the help of our Church Warden Peter Kitson we have created a Children's Altar in the gallery near the Upper room where we meet every Sunday except the second when there is Family Communion. On average there are between 10 and 13 of us.We always stop at the Children's altar to say a prayer before we start.(see the altar below)
Events leading up to Easter
Some of our Teenagers will be attending a Lent Course for Teenagers
called "Backpacking the Jesus Way"
All of us will be taking part in keeping a Lent Challenge Diary where on each day of Lent
we shall be doing something for God e.g
*1. BEGIN Lent by listing all the people you love.*2. FAST from being negative or unkind*3.PRAY that you will be positive and loving today *4.GIVE some time to the people you love.*5.FAST from thinking about yourself -put your mates first.*6.PRAY that you will be a good and genuine friend today *7.GIVE some words of praise and appreciation to your friends
Here is a display of the variety of things we do
